Marketing & Events Committee
Chair - Caroline Sisson, Heavy Seas Beer
The Marketing & Events Committee supports marketing campaigns such as Make Mine a Maryland, contributes to public relations and social media efforts, and helps plan BAM festivals, competitions, and member events.
Membership Committee
Chair - Judy Neff, Checkerspot Brewing Company
The Membership Committee explores member benefits, resources, educational opportunities, affiliate engagement, and new ideas to strengthen the overall membership experience.
The committee also focuses on recruitment, retention, regional networking opportunities, educational programming, and community-building initiatives that help members connect and learn from one another.

Government Affairs Committee
Chair - Adam Benesch, Union Craft Brewing
The Government Affairs Committee works closely with staff, lobbyists, and industry stakeholders to monitor legislation, develop policy priorities, and build relationships with state and local policymakers.
During the Maryland legislative session, this committee meets bi-weekly to respond to emerging issues and coordinate advocacy efforts.
Fundraising & Sustainability Committee
Chair - Kennith Praay, Monument City Brewing Company
This Fundraising & Sustainability Committee focuses on sponsorship development, strategic partnerships, fundraising initiatives, and identifying new revenue opportunities that support the association's programs and long-term sustainability.
