BREWERY IN PLANNING

Part of the Brewers Association of Maryland’s mission is to help new breweries, cideries, and meaderies through the licensing and startup process. The association has assisted dozens of in planning members with either opening a physical taproom or becoming a licensed craft beer brand. Regardless of your desired path, we encourage those interested in entering the Maryland craft beer industry to become a member and begin networking with the industry, benefit from the legal and regulatory advice and participate in BAM’s consumer marketing programs.

Eligibility

• In planning members must intend to open a physical brewery, cidery, or meadery or become a licensed craft beer, cider, or mead brand.
• Must be based in Maryland and intend to upgrade membership to a Licensed Brewery upon opening of operations.
• Note: Brewery In Planning is a non-voting membership.

Dues

The Brewers Association of Maryland annual membership cycle starts on February 1st. Brewery In Planning memberships will be prorated for the first year. BAM offers the option to pay membership dues annually or quarterly.
