ABOUT BAM

The Brewers Association of Maryland (BAM) is a 501(c)6 nonprofit trade association that represents and supports Maryland's independent craft breweries. Since 1996, BAM has worked to strengthen the state's brewing industry by bringing breweries together and advocating on their behalf in Annapolis and Washington, D.C. The association also promotes Maryland craft beer to consumers through events, tourism partnerships, and public awareness campaigns that highlight the quality and diversity of breweries throughout the state.

OUR MISSION

The Brewers Association of Maryland is a member-led organization that advocates for independent craft brewers in the state. Together, we educate our members and the public, and protect and promote our collective interests while inviting consumers to say “make mine a Maryland.”

OUR VISION

To create pride in Maryland’s craft alcohol industry and encourage the support and success of the state’s independent breweries.

Our members range from breweries in planning to established regional producers, all united by a shared commitment to growing and improving Maryland's craft beer community. BAM serves as a resource for brewery owners and staff by providing exclusive industry updates, educational opportunities, networking events, and other member benefits.

BAM welcomes beer, cider, and mead producers as well as supporters of the industry as valued members.
